There's a reason the final two rounds of any title fight are called the championship rounds.
UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski savagely stole former champ Max Holloway's brilliant title-nabbing win away from him on Saturday night in the co-main event of UFC 251 in Abu Dhabi through sheer determination over the last ten minutes of the fight.
A different Holloway had entered the cage in Abu Dhabi.
Holloway, already acclaimed as one of the all-time greats, bloody, tired and still throwing strikes to the end, and Vokanovski, a fighter whose nickname of "The Great" is now bolstered by two wins over Holloway and one over featherweight great Jose Aldo.
Vokanovski scored the win Holloway at UFC 251, but these two guys are far from through with each other.
